Mock Suited Assessment

The Law Weekly has obtained this exclusive advance copy of the Suited Assessment that law firms will be using for the class of 2029 before recruiting starts next week for their 2026, 2027, and 2028 summer associateships. A preemptively gunning admitted student hacked into the Suited system to get extra preparation and shared it with the Law Weekly as part of their campaign to be named Editor-in-Chief by the time they arrive on grounds in the fall. See below for how law firms will grade the newest class of students!

You have planned your wedding for the weekend and have secured the following week off for a honeymoon well in advance, but a partner mentions they have a non-pressing research assignment. What do you do?

  1. Preemptively divorce your spouse-to-be and get back to work.

  2. Reserve a conference room in the office for fifteen minutes for the ceremony.

  3. Invite subject matter experts to the wedding to do research during the reception and expense the wedding costs as business expenses.

You are on a desert island and can only bring one movie and one person. Which combination do you bring?

  1. The Paper Chase and the desert island office managing partner.

  2. Whiplash and a client.

  3. Michael Clayton and a Delaware Chancellor.

You can take an all-expenses-paid vacation anywhere in the world. Where do you go?

  1. The office.

  2. The client site.

  3. A business development conference.

Now, if you add up all the points from your answers, we can tell you what kind of associate you will be and what you should do:

1-15: You spent time taking this quiz and reading a student newspaper, so clearly you have too much of a life for big law. Throw this away and get back to work if you want to make it in the business world!
